October 31st through November 6th

Hi church!

Wowee - it's November already!  How on God's decreasingly green earth did that happen?

Well, let's kick off November in style - this Friday evening (the 4th), we'll do our monthly Karaoke Night! We'll begin with setup starting at 6pm, then pizza and singing at 6:30, and wrapping up at 8pm. It's at The Lamb Center, the only daytime drop-in center for homeless folks within Fairfax County, off Fairfax Circle and not far from the Vienna Metro. Join us for fun, fellowship, and joy!

Then, despite the fact that this coming Sunday is the first Sunday of the month, we will not be gathering at Jammin' Java on Sunday morning, because they've got some kind of wiz-bang kiddie concert planned instead.  But!  November 1st was All Saints Day, and we will be having a service (on Saturday morning) to celebrate that!  Hear the Words of Weave:
We'll be holding the All Saints Day Service on Saturday 11/5 at 10:00 am at the labyrinth at the Church of the Holy Comforter in Vienna.  If the weather doesn't permit we'll meet at the Rodman House (also at Holy Comforter).
I'm really excited about throwing this together with Liz.  Amy will be singing and Heidi's adding her beautiful artistic touch to make for a great service.
Hope to see you there.
And that's the news for this first week of November.  God bless!

Peace,
Mike Croghan
